Punctured lung...

Post  Admin on Fri Apr 13, 2012 2:23 am

Got the chemo port put in, but with a small mishap...so instead of getting home today at 1:00, I'm still in the hospital Sad. Hopefully, my lung will seal up during the night, and I'll get outta here tomorrow. I have way to many things to do before Monday, to be laying here.....doing nothing, but laying.

Guess it's not that uncommon when placing a port on skinny people....the sugeon was more upset than I was....but it had never happened to her before.

Anyway...maybe this means that now we have "mishaps" out of the way, and it will be clear sailing for the next few months.

They are going to put in the feeding tube at 10:00, and right after possibly a portable water seal pump that I can take home...and then I'll be out of here...crossing fingers that all this goes as planned (paranoid now that I've alreay had one fuck up)....

Going home is going to be SO FUCKING NICE!

Greg said Moj went down in the kitchen the other day, and couldn't get back up...couldn't get traction...but Greg just lifted his rear end, and once back up, he was like nothing ever happened. thank gawd...guess he was really scrambling tho, getting panic'd when he couldn't get back up. He's never done this before....
